Thanks for getting in touch!

Hi, there!  I'm Mrs. Morejon (Mojo if you'd like!).  I've been creating art since I can remember and have worked professionally as a jewelry designer and manufacturer for many years.  My career has taken me many places, and I'm excited to say that my last journey as an art teacher was a blast!

I began my educational artistic journey in the 2020/2021 schoolyear under immense instability and confusion in our country due to COVID-19. The desire to create art that I have always had, soon became an unyielding obligation to our schools, as there was no one to teach art education and history to our children!

As an art teacher, not only was I able to inspire creativity and help our students learn and problem solve in a safe and unbiased environment, I was also able to explore my own inner creative consciousness again.  Starting from small sketches to large scale projects, my art and what I teach, is a highly-personal reflection of myself and what I feel are essential lifelong skills for our children.

While teaching in the last year, I was privileged  enough to have created many collaborative projects with several grade levels, as well as exhibiting student's work online and on-campus.  One of my main goals was to use EVERY medium we had in the art room (and my garage!) to teach and create with the students.  From collage to photography to mixed media and printmaking, we explored a myriad of mediums and styles of art and art history.  We had a blast!

If you would like to find out more about my artistic and educational processes, get in touch!
